"We’re All Mad Here"
If you’re living in the Western Hemisphere like me, then you are reaching the end of long summer nights, the heat of a blazing sun, and the freedom of a full day ahead. This month is the perfect time to take advantage of the weather and bring together your friends for a chance to dress up and enjoy each other’s company. When I say throw a garden party—- I literally am referring to a fairy tale version of Alice’s tea party. Make it a wonderland.

Decor:
Garden Parties entail fresh cut flowers, lace tableclothes, fabric napkins, and twinkling lights. Primarily, set up a table in the grass (personally I would go for a floor table so everyone could sit on cushions) and choose a simple tablecloth free of bright colors and patterns. Next line the table with porcelain plates (mixing and matching looks great). As opposed to your ordinary paper napkin, choose a subtle cloth napkin. Place the utensils in the cloth and then wrap a piece of twine around.
It is always fun to create a seating chart & even more entertaining creating name place cards! I advise purchasing tiny succulent plants and placing a name card in each one. It will act as a gift bag to take home, as well as tie together the garden theme.
For center pieces I would put multiple vases and fill them with flowers such as hydrangeas. Play around and place crystals, pinecones, or any other earthy material in the center as well in order to accent the flowers. Lastly, do not neglect to decorate the surrounding areas! Wrap your trees in christmas lights, hang flowers on string, wrap the chairs in floral fabric, place tea candles and sand in mason jars, be creative!
Food:
Beverages~ The night before, cut up fresh fruit and place it in a pitcher with water & maybe some tonic water to create your own infused water! Try not to bring labeled soda cans or bottles to the table, but instead keep everything natural and fresh.
Meal Plan~ *try to think of light, natural foods* the following are all free of dairy products and meat.
+APPS: platter of fresh veggies & homemade hummus, a large salad with spinach/apples/walnuts/tomatoes & a strawberry balsamic, gazpacho, maple roasted carrots
+ENTREES: cauliflower rice with a vegetable stir-fry, corn (or spiralized zucchini) pasta with fresh tomato sauce/sauteed spinach/zucchini, marinated portobello burger with russian dressing & homemade french fries
+DESSERT: coconut milk/fruit/chia popsicles, peanut butter cups, chocolate mousse with rasberry compote, watermelon cake
Playlist:
dreams of cannibalism- typhoon
open road- roo panes
difference maker- needtobreathe
please forgive my heart -bahamas
hide- little may
1904- the tallest man on earth
go mama go-michael bernard fitzgerald
I will wait for you- Lowing
Enjoy the planning, the creativity, and the amazing memories you will be making! Be sure to tell me all about your beautiful creations my loves.

Getting rid of negativity.
We often read about being positive, focusing on what we have and about being responsible for the main characters that will take part on our story. I bet there is  no doubt that leaving negativity behind will lead us to a better emotional state that will then, give us in exchange  good health and better relationships. Long story short, it will improve our quality of life.
But the big question is how do you do it? How can we release ourselves from negativity?
-The main rule is to stop thinking that change is difficult. You cannot want something and still believe that it’s unreachable . That’s negativity!
-The second is to start thinking that every change is easy, so that means you are switching your thoughts. Every change will and can be done only if you are 100% sure you want to do it.
How much does it take for me to make a change? If it’s so easy why have I not achieved it yet? Why do I let myself suffer so much?
But still, even when you tried, negativity will keep you away from things that you want to reach.
What’s the point in being positive?
1. Being positive is to hope for the best and be prepared for everything.
2. Being positive means to be grateful of what is around in the same intensity and frequency as you breathe.
3. Being positive is not ignoring what is wrong, do something to make it better.
 4. Being positive is smiling with your heart, soul and mind.
 5. Being positive is to embrace life. It’s playing, is to talk with friends, do the things you love.
 6. Being positive is not caring about what people think of you. Is to be flexible to understand that we are not perfect.
 7. Being positive is to value others by he/she is and not for what he does, have or know.
 8. But just as you cannot be drunk by just talking of wine, you won’t become a positive person by just reading and talking about it.
 9. So the third rule is to start believing everything can and will be easy, hope for the best from this moment on and  be prepared for everything.
Now, let’s begin with the fun. Give thanks for what is around you with the same intensity and frequency as you breathe. Don’t ignore whatever that is wrong, make it better. Don’t wait! smile, hug and ask what can I do for you? To everyone around you. Right now! start to play, have fun, chat with friends and do things that you like. From now on, you do not care what others think of you, they don’t really know YOU. Begin to appreciate whoever comes to your life, no matter who they are, do or know.
There is nothing and no one that guarantees you that being positive is the solution to all your problems, but, here you are, living a life full of alternatives with the freedom to choose how to feel, with whom you want to be and above all who you want to be. Make the most of it, life is short and it’s ending is unexpected.
Good luck!!

THINGS TO DO WITH FRIENDS THIS SUMMER
1) Have a picnic! Find a nice sunny day, gather your friends, find a pretty spot and you are all set for a lovely relaxing day out. This is a great idea if you are on a budget because you can all chip in together on the food and drink so depending on the amount of you going it should only cost around £5 each. Bring your phone and play some feel good summer music and everyone is sure to have a great time!
2) BBQ on the beach. BBQ’s are a must have for the summertime, but instead of just having one in your garden think outside the box and pick a cool location. Personally I love the beach because its lovely to watch the waves as you munch through your BBQ and if its extra hot (and your sea isn’t grey and full of mud, love England soooo much..) then you and your friends can sunbathe and go for a swim to work off all that food! You can buy disposable BBQs pretty cheaply from the supermarket these days, and like with the picnic you and your friends can all chip in with food and drinks.
3) Film night. For those colder summer nights a film night is always a must have for me and my friends. Ask everyone to bring their favourite films, order some pizza, grab some ben and jerry’s and let the movies roll! If you are stuck for film ideas, tumblemag has many great recommendation posts so go check them out *hint hint*…
4) Camping. If you are more adventurous then you could book a campsite, but camping in your or a friends back garden can be just as fun! If you don’t feel like a tent, another fun idea is to blow up an inflatable pool and fill it with pillows and blankets or camp out on a trampoline. Grab some sweets, a torch, lots of comfy pillows and your friends and you are set for a great night under the stars!
5) Road Trip! If you and your friends aren’t old enough to drive (or if like me you just can’t be bothered to learn..) then you can get great deals on coaches and trains to help you venture a little further than just the next city. Once you’ve got a location, you need to plan what you are going to do there. Research local tourist attractions, theme parks, shopping centres. The possibilities are endless!
Hopefully these ideas can help some of you to have a fab day out with your friends, and I hope you all have an amazing summer!

Movie Nights
I know that it isn’t very common now a days to have movie nights or pizza party’s at a friend’s house. However, sleepovers are always occurring during holidays and weekends. So, besides eating unhealthy food, laughing so much your stomach hurts and coming up with ridiculous group names you can have a movie marathon!
Your must need movies for a movie marathon are:
1. Clueless The best movie hands down ever made! A great classic that really relates to a teens life.
2. Mean GirlsDO NOT WATCH THE SEQUEL TO THIS! This movie is hilarious and everyone loves it but if you watch Mean Girls 2, you should just skip the sleepover entirely.
3. ThirteenMost people don’t know this movie but let me tell you, I love it! It’s a great movie to show the effects of peer pressure and how stupid ‘fitting in’ is. ( a tiny bit graphic)
4. Bring It OnWhether it’s a marathon or just your favourite Bring It On, you need to watch at least one when having a movie night! 5. 21 & 22 Jump StreetWho doesn’t want to watch Channing Tatum for 4 hours?! The funniest movies I could think of!
6. The to do listThis is also a hilarious! It’s about the transformation that we take to fit in.
Have a great night with this amazing movies!

10 Ways to Improve Relationships
Whether it’s with that special something, a friend, a sibling these tips have been tested and have been guaranteed to improve your relationships.
Be honest
First and most importantly be honest in everything you do. If the other person cannot trust you then they will not open up to you, tell you anything or even really just want to be around you.
Don’t Complain Excessively
It’s okay to complain a little, everyone has there little pet hates, but if your conversation is 90% complaining you really need to find something better to talk about!  I don’t know about you butttt conversations reflect the inside of a person. Also boys hate it when you black talk (say bad things about them) another girl in front of them because it makes you look like the biggest biatch.

Make Decisions Mutual
Im not saying that you do the whole:
“Hey what do you want to do?”
“I don’t know what do you want to do?”
Seriously that drives anyone insane! But if they want to watch anime and you want to go to the park maybe watch anime in the park? Or go to the park for an hour then watch anime… just do what you guys both want to do!
Allow Space
I know this seems obvious but seriously just leave them alone for a bit they have their own lives to live, family, work, friends, a little bit of space is always good so when you guys actually hang out its kind of a big deal!
Be Accepting
Everyone has their quirks and flaws, if you want them to love you unconditionally (thank you Katy Perry for ruining this word eww) then you have to love them unconditionally! If there is something about them that you think they need to change, talk about it!!
Be Polite and Say Thank You!
Again very obvious but you never know how much effort they put in for you so just be grateful! You can never say too many thank yous!
Forgive and Let It Go
You will always make dumb mistakes,  do stupid things, have fights but harbouring a grudge or giving the other person the silent treatment,  is like drinking poison and hoping the other person will die! I know sometimes it’s hard to let go even if the other person has really hurt you, but if you let it go you will feel so much better I promise! Don’t bring it up again!
Communicate
If you’re not happy say something! If you are happy say something! Communicate ideas„ emotions, thoughts, feelings. Just talk to each other!
Support
Understand their views and support them in decisions. If you want them to support you you need to support them!
Say Sorry
Say sorry and firkin mean it!
I hope theses help, love you so much beautiful! Keep your chin up!!

We always have enough time but only if we use it right.
Twenty-four hours is a large period of time. It’s enough for us to go a step closer to our goal. If you waste so many time and still think that you don’t have enough time, then I’m giving you tips on how to stop being a lazy ass.
1. Don’t procrastinate; start early. Of course this is number one. If you can do it now, then do it. You don’t have to wait a day before the deadline before starting your project. Finishing early gives you more time to relax and revise your task. Come on, we all know this but its time to actually stop and do our work.
2. Prioritize. Complete the most important task first. Sit down, think about the major tasks that you will accomplish for today. Once you’ve finished the essential tasks for the day that’s the only time that you could move on to the minor ones, or you could do the minor ones tomorrow as a gift for yourself.
3. Learn to say no. Say no to someone who invites you to a party if you know that you need to do errands and school stuffs. (If you’re one of those who say no even though you have zero things to do, cheers to you.) But seriously, only commit yourself to events that you know you have time for and care about.
4. Manage your time in the Internet. Studying for an hour feels like an eternity but staying in tumblr for an hour is never enough. Plan how much time you’ll stay in the social networking site. Focus on what you should be doing and keep away from all the distractions. Download a website blocker if keeping away is hard for you. I suggest the SelfContol App.
5. Time blocking. I’m a fan of to-do lists but I find it more productive and easy to use time block. It’s overwhelming to look at your to-do list when it has so many things so it’s better to plan the specific task that you’ll do in the certain time. This will help you focus more. Do one step at a time. Remember to add in between cool off time to keep your brain from heating up. Breathe.
6. Be organized. Having a planner/calendar is really helpful. It’ll make you know what to prioritize and save your time from doing the unnecessary things. Plus, having a planner gives you almost no excuse for missing a school work/task.
It’s a shame that we think we spend so much time, thinking that we always have it. My last tip would be enjoy what you’re doing. What’s the point of wasting time to things that you don’t enjoy and learn from? I’m not telling you not to study because it’s hella boring, but my point is make it more fun and find what will interest you with whatever you do.

I hope this article helps you. xoxo, Sam

How to have a better school year I know that going to school isn’t the best thing ever so here are some tips and ideas for having a better school year.
*Buy things that you like. You can buy nice notebooks or even decorate them the way you like with a collage or some quotes. Buy a backpack you enjoy looking at. Things like that can really make a difference.
*Get a reason for going to school. Maybe you wanna see your friends, boyfriend or crush? Maybe there’s an activity you wanna do? Just get a reason and that could make school better.
*Try to meet new people. I know that talking to people may seem a little hard and that you may get a little nervous, but it’s good to talk to people. Try to make new friends but never forgetting the ones you have at that moment!
*Set a goal. How about showing yourself that you are better at some subject and that you can get higher grades? Maybe you wanna talk to someone but were not brave enough? Well how about doing everything you haven’t done, try.
*Complain less. Yes, it is hard but it makes you get in a bad mood, so try to avoid it.
*Put your best in everything you do. Do things with passion and love and that can make everything better and you will feel so good.
*Avoid stress. Don’t let the pressure get you, if you feel stressed about school do things that make you feel better and forget for a moment about everything you gotta do and just read a good book, go to a party and try to relax. Just don’t let things for last moment because that’s when you get stressed.
Good luck! Hope you have a good school year!

Hey Ladies!
Well, summer is about half way over which means that school is just around the corner. I am a bit of a nerd so I am so glad this is happening and I can’t wait to go back to school shopping (yes for the supplies); however, I know that some of you lack the motivation to go shopping. Or maybe you just need a little help picking out some pretty rad things so I have compiled a list of things that everyone will need for back to school.
1. A Backpack
Backpacks are essential for many things when it comes to back to school because you’ll need one to carry all of your stuff in on the first day and then you’ll need them to carry homework back and forth. If you’re not one to do your homework then I’ll let you in on the secret that its a heck of a lot easier to carry makeup and your phone and headphones and what not in a little makeup back in your backpack rather than carrying a purse.
My recommendation for this year is the Jansport Right Pack Backpack in Aqua Dash it is $55.00 and can be found here

2. Binders
The next thing on my list of back to school essentials are binders. I like to keep a binder for all of my courses that semester so everything stays separate and then I can keep track of everything that way.
I really enjoy the Staples Better Binder they are $11.93 each, they come in many different sizes and colours and can be found here

3. Paper
This is pretty self explanatory since you will be taking notes in class. You can either purchase loose leaf paper or paper in note books. I prefer the paper in notebooks because then everything stays together and it also prevents people from asking for paper because they don’t like how it has to be ripped out of the notebook.
4. Pencils
Again this is pretty self explanatory since it will be used to take notes, doodle, etc. I prefer mechanical pencils to pencils that you have to sharpen just because I feel that they write better and you are less likely to give them away and therefore less likely to lose them.
5. Erasers
Because if you are writing in pencil you need a way to get rid of your mistakes ( we hare humans here people no one is perfect)
6. Pens
Because from experience I know that most teachers would rather you write in pen for tests than in pencil.
7. White out,
Because whenever I write in pen I mess up twice as much as when I write in pencil and this can’t be erased
8. Highlighters
"Class please take out a highlighter and highlight this whole passage, you’ll need it for the exam" (Its never on the exam)
9. Jump/Flash/USB Drive
Because you’re most likely going to have a project that is done on computers and needs to be finished outside of class
10. Patience
Because you’re probably going to have that one teacher you cannot stand and if not that then you will have the most annoying kid in your whole entire school in one of your classes
I’m sorry if I’ve missed anything! Good luck in school and study hard!
XOXO, Taylz

Party Etiquette
When it comes to a party there are two sides of the story: being a host and being a guest. As teenagers, we often think of parties where everybody is getting wasted and beer cans are flying all around, but in reality you have a choice and you can go full-on animal style or fancy for real. Either way, society will manage to build expectations from what food they’re serving to who will be invited. So make sure you keep on reading this tips because I’m guessing you don’t want to be a bad host, and you wouldn’t want to miss the party.
Ways to be a good host:
1. Plan well. This is probably the most important. Before inviting you need to make sure you have everything planned, from the time of the guests’ arrival to the music and even the way you will invite everyone.
2.. Invite clearly. Nowadays, we seem to invite every person in town through Facebook events or simple text messages, but giving exact details is key in not having misunderstandings.
3. Make your guests comfortable and make them feel welcomed. Make sure they are greeted with the best of smiles, even if there’s an uninvited guest, your attitude should show nothing but gratefulness. Ask if they want a drink and REMEMBER, always offer a glass of water or fresh lemonade, in case they don’t drink.
4. Keep an open mind. Be ready for the uninvited guest, for the unexpected spills, for the needy guest, and for a complete mess. Don’t mind the disaster, you need to have fun too.
Ways to be a good guest:
1. Confirm or deny attendance. This is crucial, regardless of the magnitude of the event, it’s always nice to let your host know that you are indeed attending the party. And if for some reason you’re not going, simply say you won’t be able to be there in the most polite way.
2. Be on time. Try to be as punctual as possible. Arriving stlightly late is better. about 10 or 15 minutes from the time stated on the invitation. Don’t be TOO early,
3. Offer your help. If you see drinks are being served or trash is being picked up, make sure you offer your help and if accepted, remember to make the host know that you have no problem in helping.
4. Be thankful. Thank two or three times, it never hurts. Let them know you had a great time and how yourself interested in repeating the event this time at home.
Hope this tips are helpful and now, party on!!
