Outfit Ideas For A Night Out
Choosing an outfit for an evening occasion can be very frustrating. Theres the age old problem of not wanting to look too ‘dressy’ but also not wanting to look too ‘casual’ so where is a girl to start? As it varies a lot depending on occasion, I have split the suggestions into sections for each different occasion/venue.
Restaurant
Now I know this also depends on the type of restaurant as your outfit for a classy five star restaurant may be a bit different than the down town burger joint, so for this we will assume it is a dinner with friends at a nice classy local restaurant.

- If you want to wear a dress I would suggest something on the more casual side like a skater dress or just something flowy. A tight party dress may be a bit too much so keep it classy.
- Jeans would be acceptable as long as you pair them with a more dressy top. Again maybe something flowy or with cute details and embellishments or a cool material.
- For shoes, ballet flats are probably your best bet. You could get away with heeled booties or small wedges if you want to dress it up a bit.
Party
Again it depends on the type of party, so we will say its a friends party at their home for their birthday.
- A good choice for a house party would be a crop top paired with something high waisted. This could be jeans, a skater skirt or shorts.
- If you want to wear a dress I think it would be fine to wear something on the tighter side but I wouldn’t wear it too short as you don’t want to be constantly pulling it down if there is a lot of dancing! You basically want something you can move around in.
- For shoes something like converse would be fine for the more casual outfits and if you went for the dress I think normal high heels would be a bit much so stick to wedges or heeled ankle boots.
Clubs
Seeing as I’m not actually old enough to go clubbing this is more a guess on what I would wear, but I think the main thing to remember is you are going to be out in this all night. So yes you want to look good, but you don’t want to sacrifice having a good time because of the six inch heels you chose to wear.
- If you don’t want to wear a dress then you could go for a body con skirt. You can get them in a variety of colours and patterns and paired with a crop top I think they could make a great clubbing outfit.
- For dresses this is where you can go all out with figure hugging dresses, sparkles, bright colours. Anything that will make you stand out!
- For shoes I would always go with something comfy over something that just looks good but kills your feet after ten minutes. You can take some of those roll up ballet flats with you but its easier just to go with some comfier wedges or ankle boots or heels with a slightly chunkier heel. Platform heels are a great option as they give height without as much strain on your feet.
Wherever you are going, have a great time!

A little thought
Sometimes happiness seems to be far from us. Maybe it’s because you bombed your test, got through a bad relationship, or just seem like you aren’t good enough. But that shouldn’t be a defining factor in your life. Everyone goes through hard times, and although some are harder than others, it is these times that shape who we are. Afterall, our imperfections are what define us. Perfect people, they don’t exist. Maybe you think that one girl down the street is the epitome of perfection. I promise you, she’s not. You think you’re not good enough? To someone you mean the world. Your self-esteem is at rock bottom? There’s no reason to be like that. You are special, you don’t need the approval of others, and you are beautiful.
Don’t try to conform to society. Be yourself. As cliché as it is, you are your best self. Cry your heart out, don’t keep it in. It’s a form of admitting your problems to yourself. And that’s the first step to recovery. You may not think so, but our hearts our blinded. We can see the best in everyone else, but can’t find anything in ourselves. It makes us cry out in frustration, but someone is looking at and everyone of us thinking that we are truly unique. It’s not our similarities, but rather our differences that make us who we are, and this shouldn’t be forgotten.
At times, happiness seems like an abstract concept. Something that isn’t tangible and beyond our reach. But this isn’t true, I mean there’s a pot of gold on the other side of the rainbow.

Autumn Must-haves
As much as I love Summer and the beautiful weather that comes with it, I personally can’t wait until Autumn. Hitting the beach and rocking your short shorts can be good but my powers are definitely strongest with scary movies, falling leaves and halloween sweets - and I’ve always loved pumpkins! Another thing I love about when it gets cooler is the fashion. Finally, it’s time for lots of warm layers, my favourite leather boots and, as a halloween lover, I adore letting it get a little spooky with lots of American Horror Story Coven inspired attire - I can’t wait. However, if you’re stuck in your summer ways, you might need a little hand knowing the must-haves for the season. So, here you go! My top 5 Autumn must haves.

A quirky hat. There’s nothing that makes me feel happier and more stylish than wearing a hat and there is no better time than Autumn to get one. Whether you feel like rocking a casual beanie or, my personal favourite, a floppy black fedora, a hat can change an outfit completely and, in my opinion, it just finishes off an outfit.
A cute dress. If you’re not someone who wants to go for the full on witch-look, then this one is for you. Buying a cute, floral dress (like this one) and pairing it with woolly tights and a chunky cardigan can give a girly twist to keeping warm. Also, topping it off with a pair of heeled brogues gives a very classy touch!
A felt coat. As well as keeping you super warm, this is a timeless style piece. Pair it with a floral dress or with black skinny jeans for two completely different, yet equally stylish looks. Remember to keep warm when it starts to get chilly - coats can be cute as hell so make the most of the cold weather.
Socks. They’re definitely underrated. Wearing some cute knee high socks (or even layering them up!) can really add to an outfit - and they’re absolutely adorable! Don’t be afraid to wear some over your tights as that can look super good - and patterns can add to a cutesy girly look.
Scarves. One of my favourite thing about Autumn is being able to hide in a pile of scarves. Not only do they keep you toasty and warm but they’re fashionable too. My favourite place to get a cute scarf is Accessorize or Topshop, so definitely check them out!
You may not want to lose the rest of your summer just yet, but don’t let that stop you getting excited about Fall. Also, you can get cheap winter bargains in stores during the summer season so go wild and enjoy the rest of your summer!

Some Good Books
This is a list about books that I really liked, so I hope you like them too!

Looking for Alaska:  This is an amazing book, it is full of romance, comedy and drama. This is a really different love story, like not the typical. Like any other books about John Green it is awesome and you don’t want the book to be finish. The characters in this story are really interesting and funny. I really liked this book because it shows that things happen when you less expect it and that friendship it’s really important. You don’t expect the ending, seriously. It’s like you can’t stop thinking about that book after you read it.
“I wanted so badly to lie down next to her on the couch, to wrap my arms around her and sleep. Not fuck, like in those movies. Not even have sex. Just sleep together in the most innocent sense of the phrase. But I lacked the courage and she had a boyfriend and I was gawky and she was gorgeous and I was hopelessly boring and she was endlessly fascinating. So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was hurricane.”

The Fault In Our Stars: Full of romance and actually funny. This is also a very different love story and the characters, I love them. Like the way they show their love it’s sooo beautiful. Friendship its also really important in this book and the things they say are hilarious. The ending makes your heart tear apart. Like you gotta read it, it’s totally worth it! Two words, Augustus Waters.
“You don’t get to choose if you get hurt in this world…but you do have some say in who hurts you. I like my choices.”

Lucas: Drama and romance. This is a super interesting story, I just love it. The characters are really different and Lucas is, wow. You’ll get nervous and excited and amazed. The story is so exciting from begging to ending. And the ending it’s so amazing you just want to get in the book and punch everyone, like you can’t believe it. The whole story is awesome. I love this book. It shows that you gotta let go.
“I first saw Lucas at the end of July last summer. Of course, I didn’t know who he was then… in fact, come to think of it, I didn’t even know what he was. All I could see from the backseat of the car was a green-clad creature padding along the Stand in a shimmering haze of heat; a slight and ragged figure with a mop of straw-blond hair and a way of walking - I smile when I think of it - a way of walking that whispered secrets to the air.”

Veronika Decides To Die: Romance and drama. It shows the meaning of life in a really different way. The plot in this story is so different and the ending it’s so beautiful. It makes you think about life and that it always has a meaning and that you exist for some reason.
"Be crazy! But learn how to be crazy without being the center of attention. Be brave enough to live different."
The Eyes Of The Siberian Dog by Antonio Santa Ana: Drama. This book shows the struggle of a small boy whose older brother suffers from AIDS. A really beautiful story. The meaning of this books is that you always gotta support your family and love them as much as you can. That you gotta grab the moment and enjoy it as much as you can.
” One of the reasons why I love  this dog is both his eyes. Since I’m sick people look at me differently. In some eyes I see fear, in others intolerance. In Grandma I see pity. In Dad’s anger and shame. Mom In fear and reproach. In your eyes curiosity and mystery, unless you believe that my illness has nothing to do with who we are together in this time. The only eyes that look like me, in the only eyes that see me as I am, whether I’m healthy or sick, are the eyes of my dog.”

Thirteen Reasons Why: Mystery and Drama. A story filled with excitement. After a suicide from his crush Hannah, Clay ends up with some cassettes that explain why Hannah suicide. You’ll be so intrigued!
“Because when you’re posed, you know someone’s watching.  You put on your very best smile.  You let your sweetest personality shine.  And in high school people are always watching so there’s always a reason to pose.”

Every Day: Drama and Romance. How about waking up in someone else’s body? Weird right? That’s what happens with A. A book with a really different love story. This book has a great message.
“The moment you fall in love feels like it has centuries behind it, generations – all of them rearranging themselves so this precise, remarkable intersection could happen. In your heart, in your bones, no matter how silly you know it is, you feel that everything has been leading to this, all the secret arrows were pointing here, the universe and time itself crafted this long ago, and you are just now realizing it, you are just now arriving at the place you were always meant to be.”
Hope you like them!

Written by the well recognized director of the film Once, John Carney, this newly broadcasted film captures the beauty & hardship that guides a songwriter into the music industry. Gretta (Keira Knightley) is an English singer/songwriter who follows her college sweetheart (Adam Levine) to New York in order to support his recent record deal & musical journey. As she loses herself in his progress, she meets a man who had failed in his own personal life. Mark Ruffalo should, in my opinion, receive an award for his performance as Ex-music producer Dan. He lost his wife, he doesn’t even know his daughter’s age, and he struggles with addiction: but he has a gift. A swig here & there, & he is able to transform Gretta’s talent into a unique outdoor album that captures the excitement of New York City.
This movie is a must see not only for the appearance of Adam Levine for the first time on screen, but for the indie music that seems to leap from the screen & serenade your ear drums. You will fall in love with Kierra Knightley repeatedly throughout the film after hearing her soft voice & see her feminine style filled with vintage silhouttes. Begin Again will remind you the importance of placing your heart & soul into pursuing your dream.

Things my mother should of told me when I was youngerLife is so short, don’t waste itThe about of time we spend doing absolutely nothing is ridiculous. Instead of staying in bed until 12 we should be having lunch with friends and enjoying life. Instead of doing the same things every single day. Make the small things countRealise there is an entire world full of exotic and beautiful things around us. Pay more attention to the man then the ring. Be thankful of all the amazing things around you; not the materialistic items.
[[MORE]]Boys are overratedPay attention to achieving what you want in life; not how boys treat you. Boys don’t want to fix you, they want to kiss you and spit poison down your throat. Don’t stress over nothingWhat’s the point of stressing out when you have a topic test coming up? Or about the strand of hair that is still curly after you straightened it? There is no point because you are going to fine and everything else needs to focused on, stressing over silting things isn’t going to help you. Never see the glass half fullDon’t keep your hopes up because all high hopes will lead to disappointments. So when your glass of water tips over, you don’t care about the water spilled because it was only half a glass. Don’t let school take over your lifeYeah, it’s pretty important but so is living your life. What skills do you have in the future if all you know is algebra? Well, you know algebra but what about life skills, huh?

TREND: GLADIATOR SANDALS
One of the biggest trends I’ve seen from the runway to the streets on NY are gladiator sandals.  This style of sandal first came around maybe 2 years ago but it seems they have made an appearance again.  In this article i will share some tips on styling gladiator sandals and give you a few places to buy them.

Outfit 1: Casual but chic

One way to style gladiator sandals in an effortless way is to pair them with jean shorts and a t-shirt.  To tie the whole outfit together try matching your bag color to the color of your sandals.
Outfit 2: Cute and girly

Another way to style your gladiator sandals is with a girly dress, the sandals will add a funky vibe to the otherwise simple outfit.  Feel free to accessorize with cool jewelry as well.
Outfit 3: Boyfriend meets girlfriend

My personal favorite way to style gladiator sandals is with boyfriend jeans.  I think the sandals really add a feminine touch to the baggy pants and make the outfit very stylish.  A belt is your best friend in this outfit, not only will it keep your pants up but it will also tie the out fit together.
Places to buy:
1) GoJane 2) Asos 3) Steve Madden 4) Target 5) Free People
